I've been horrible at updating our blog lately. I've also been bad about taking pictures. I didn't get many Christmas morning pictures, because I was video taping it. Then, I forgot my camera for Tipton Christmas (hopefully I can get some from someone). I did get some pictures from dad from Watson Christmas. We had a good Christmas and I feel like we need a new room for toys. Good thing Scott is almost done remodeling the breezeway, which will be Aiden's toy room. Yea!! I can't wait for it to be done.
A couple of weeks ago Aiden had his first experience with the stomach flu. NOT FUN! I hope for his and my sake we don't experience that too often. It was GROSS! Poor guy woke up puking in his crib at about 10 at night. It's hard with one that little that doesn't know you can't just puke all over the place. Needless to say, I think I changed his crib bedding 4 times and he got it all over the carpet.
It's been really nice having these last couple of weeks off for Christmas Break. I've gotten to spend a lot more time with Aiden. He's amazing and has lots of energy. The only time he takes a break is for nap time and bed time. He is 100% boy and keeps us busy.
We took Aiden on a date with us for New Year's Eve to Olive Garden. We went out early so that he wouldn't get grumpy. It's amazing how much life changes after you have a little one. We probably could've gotten a babysitter and went out for New Year's, but I had much more fun just taking it easy as a family.
