Ozarks

This past weekend we took a long weekend vacation to the Ozarks with the Tipton family. We had a great time and lucked out on the weather the whole time. The kids had fun and Aiden loved the water.

Jayla's 3rd Birthday Party

Miss Jayla turned three today! I can't believe it. She is getting so big and her vocabulary cracks me up. Tara and Casey had a party out at the park for her. Which of course she had been talking about it for weeks. A lot of her Hammond family got to come from Florida too.

Last year I wanted this pool so bad. I thought it was so cute. Aiden had fun cooling off in it too. He wasn't too excited about the fountain part on it, so I unhooked the hose.

Fishing

We took Aiden fishing, because we thought he would love to see some fish. Unfortunately the only way he was seeing any was in the water. We didn't catch a thing! He did have fun throwing rocks into the pond.

We thought we would change it up tonight and eat outside. It was fun and Aiden liked it too. He is 100% boy. He loves to play outside and get dirty. His favorite thing right now is mowing. He gets so excited every time he hears a mower.

Memorial Day

On Monday we headed over to mom and dad's to hang out by the pool and have a cookout. It was a perfect day for it. The kids did good with the pool too.

YAY!!!

Last night Aiden went poop and pee in the potty!! We haven't really been trying to potty train him yet, but we do sit him on the potty after bath time just to get him used to it. So, last night I was getting him changed into his jammies and asked him if he wanted to go potty. He shook his head yes, so I sat him on his little potty and he went! We were so excited for him and so was he. I will be surprised if this amounts to anything, but I'm going to try and keep at it. That would be amazing to be done with diapers.

Here are just some random pictures of what we've been up to, since I'm so horrible at updating our blog.

Aiden LOVES popcorn....so whenever he finds the cupboard left unlocked he sneaks in and gets it.

Aiden went to Big R with Daddy and came back with this. He likes climbing on it, but it's going to be a while before his short little legs can reach the pedals.

Happy Easter

On Friday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Tipton's for Easter dinner. It was the only day that we could all get together. It actually worked out better this way. We weren't running all over the place on Easter Sunday. We had a good meal and an Easter Egg Hunt. Aiden also got some of his very own yard tools.

On Sunday we went to church with mom and stayed there for breakfast. Then we went home and the Easter bunny had been to our house and left Aiden some hidden eggs and an Easter basket. While we were waiting to go over to Grandma and Grandpa Watson's we dyed some Easter eggs. Aiden loved this! We went and had yet another Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Watson's and a good Easter dinner. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures over there, because Aiden was tired and grouchy.
